I havent played rookie ai since 2k8 and i was 12 even then i was smacking the computer by 20+.

• First off quit being a lil bytch and move the diffculty to all-star to start.
• Go on practice mode and learn a few players release points + their hot spots.(start with the stars first)
• Pick the team with the player your most comfortable with and run games against the 76rs
• Run the pick and roll. Pick and pop combos.
• Run set plays here and there.
• Do not Lebron the games AKA trying to bulldoze your way into the paint every possession
• Do not chuck threes every possession
• Do not kyrie the ball AKA play every possesion like an AND-1 Mixtape.
• Learn the hesitations and basic crossovers thats all you need at your stage.
• Dont do too much just get the ball in the basket.
• Everything should work around the midrange game
• If you leak out on a fastbreak and theres a defender(s) dont keep attacking the basket like an idiot and hope for a foul or an easy make(unless its lebron, iggy, etc.
• Instead stop RELEASE YOUR LEFT STICK to stop momentum and pull up from the midrange or three(if the player is a great 3 point shooter)

Every player is different dont use everyone the same. 12 year old squeaky voiced me would've had you dash boarding

Try going on blacktop to learn how to score and defend against cpu. Have a pg, sg/sf, and a pf/c to accomadate all playstyles. Once you got a good feel for the game start playing some quick match vs cpu.
