Brehs how I do my hair like this

I got the high top fade right now, but I've had this shyt for a minute and I'm tryna switch it up. My shyts about 2 inches tall right now.

I'm tryna get this hi top dreads shyt right here, so questions.
1. How long will it take for my shyt to look like these nikkas?
2. How do I go about getting this shyt dreaded and maintaining the dreads?

1. 1 year or so it will be longer than those two dudes ones

2. twist every week or so makes sure u wash it atleast weekly or ull have a itchy scalp

I have my hair like that its just a hi top twists as i call it

I got tired of it after a year or so

Just shave the sides and twist up the top bit of hair. but make sure u sleep with a wool cap on
or else ur twists gonna look like a fukkd up mohawk in the morning

How long was your hair when you started? I'm not tryna have those bummy ass stubs on my head. Do I have to go to a nice dread spot for this shyt or can I just do it myself or get my moms to do it?
