Gotta spend a little over 2 grand to get that super duperNot gonna happen without like $2k. Get a desktop and pray for good optimization in the future. Next gen games aren't fairing well on pcs right now (look at watch dogs and dead rising 3).
Lazy developers mean you gotta have a graphics card 2x as powerful as the equivalent one on a ps4 or x1. It's not cost efficient at all on a laptop.
You'll need an 870m or 880m. Ask @Crakface His shyt runs some next gen games at 30-40fps at ultra. I think he has a 870m. He spent $1800 I think
alright do you think that 2k could hold me down for gaming for the next 6-8 years and what desktop do you recommend? Not gonna happen without like $2k. It will definitely not hold you down for more than 2 years. No computer will really, unless you go all out.alright do you think that 2k could hold me down for gaming for the next 6-8 years and what desktop do you recommend?

Not true right now. Next gen games are still a problem that haven't been completely solved on the pc yet (except bf4).You can build shyt that plays on Ultra settings 1080p for $500 dollars.
that's not true... Tech is advancing to the point laptops are being in line in both power and price of their desktop counter parts. the only draw back is battery life.Don't bother trying to do this. It's a lost cause.
And it's not bang for your buck cost effective. You'll pay a high premium to get a laptop that matches a PS4. Gaming laptops are just not a great idea. Desktop components preform better and are easier to cool and will likely be longer lived because of that.that's not true...
