I got a friend thats a DJ & he's tryna go live and play music like DJ d-nice and them. Hes been doing it on FB but they keep cutting him off for copyright claims i guess. Is there anyway he can stream and embed the video on his own site and not get cut? And if he does do that, can he get sued? I'm sure he would have the same problem on youtube too

Mixcloud is likely his best bet

Mixcloud or twitch.

Mixcloud is likely his best bet
Mixcloud is what he was going with but found this on they site today:
Can I embed my stream on another site?
Embedding the stream on a different site is something that we are working on, but it is not currently possible at this time.
Maybe twitch might work :ohhh: , because I found a site called Restream and according to them:
Unfortunately, we don’t have our own player that would allow us to embed your video in other websites at the moment. You are free to stream to one of many platforms, like YouTube or Vimeo, which allow their players to be embedded, and simply embed their player on your website.

The widget will work only if you stream to one or a few of the following services with Restream.io: Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, Facebook, and any other that allows embedding of your streams. We chose the most popular platforms with embed support and made our widget to embed those players easily.

Tip: If your YouTube account doesn't have at least 1k subscribers or monetization enabled, YouTube may not allow you to embed a live stream and will ask users to follow the link to your YouTube channel instead. We would recommend using the Restream Widget with streaming to multiple platforms, like Twitch, Mixer, Facebook, etc., at the same time to avoid this common issue. Please, follow our setup guide below:

Embed your stream on your Website
I'll try to set it up for him tomorrow and report back, good looking out brehs :salute:

215 Uptown!
Twitch would be his best bet. They dont cut off live streaming. They just mute the vod with any copyrights.
