brehs I'm most likely changing my major

right now I'm a computer science major but I'm getting disillusioned with the math aspects of it. since im as far into it as I am I could still get a minor in it and I still have a passion for programming but it just might not be in the cards here.

any possible major change suggestions or somebody with a similar story to mine are welcome

Anyways, I was a CS major to begin the year. Got my ass handed to me. Now I changed it to IT. It is what it is. Dont think I would have enjoyed CS anyways

I was the same way....but by the time I finished Calc 3 I was actually tutoring people in the lower level maths. Now, I lowkey like Math


Plus, there's no career choice like IT at this point. And I've always felt like people who actually enjoy IT are considerably better off than people who chase IT degrees just because it's the popular field right now.

Breh, if you have a passion for Programming. Stick with the math courses. If you don't understand how it'll pay-off, look at any algorithm book. ALL Math.

Go for an Information Systems degree and take less math but have more job options after school

some of my brehs been stressing over it lately

but i have a passion for psychology so i never had second thoughts about my major

just be careful breh, if you passionate about it then stick with it but only if your sure

you don't want to be wasting time in school

If you're really serious about a change, talk to multiple counselors, if possible. I wouldn't recommend just one since they all seem to say different things for whatever reason. It sounds like something IT related would be best,but it all depends on what's offered at your school. Math isn't that bad. You could always seek help if needed.
