I was the same way....but by the time I finished Calc 3 I was actually tutoring people in the lower level maths. Now, I lowkey like Math

Plus, there's no career choice like IT at this point. And I've always felt like people who actually enjoy IT are considerably better off than people who chase IT degrees just because it's the popular field right now.
I took a high level discrete math class and was so out of my depth it had me like:wow:

Im not even worried about classes like calc 2 .just proving the stuff we were proving was ridiculously complicated. that and linear algebra are what is seriously giving me second thoughts.

Because this thread isnt about pawgs, eating ass, instagram, ball or hip hop. This website needs a section for people to discuss career/business shyt

Anyways, I was a CS major to begin the year. Got my ass handed to me. Now I changed it to IT. It is what it is. Dont think I would have enjoyed CS anyways

Try accounting with Information technology. Less math requirements, just as good when it comes to job prospects.

That's what I did. Don't make that mistake.

I was in medicine. One day I imagined myself as a doctor and couldn't stand it. Not realizing at that age I coulda just got the degree then did whatever i wanted with it anyway.

Stick with it, but then do whatever you wanna do when you graduate. But stick with it. It's not as serious as you're making it.

Accounting, Finance, and Economics may be a good choice, if you want to get your feet wet early on.
I would suggest you stick with it honestly. It will pay dividends.

This! Evaluate what it is you may or may not like about the major. If it is just some difficult math, then grind it out. I cant say how much math you will encounter in what you are choosing to do (i have no clue what it takes to get into your field.) However, if you cannot envision yourself in the field, make a change. Like a previous breh said, time is your greatest asset at the moment. Do not quit just because it is kinda tough. You'll be running your whole life (and be wondering what could've been.)

Also, if you aren't sure what to expect in your current field (or any other field for the matter) seek out internships, mentors, counselors, professors, and other guides to help you determine the lay of the land in any field. You don't have to know everything now, but you want to know as much as possible before you make any decisions (an informed decision is better than an emotional decision). Get some hands on experience before you make your decision. If you need help finding opportunities, hit my inbox and I'll explain a process I use with my students that works pretty well (too much to type here, but I am willing to share).
