Brehs, is it true that Firefox is better browser than Chrome on PC if you have a BUNCH of tabs open?

I'm listening to a Black Tech/Video Game podcast & dude said Firefox is a better browser if you have a bunch of tabs open because each tab on Chrome has it own separate process which eats up a lot of system resources if you have a bunch of tabs open.

This true? I might have to switch back to Firefox as my main PC browser for the first time in years with Chrome as my #2 Browser.

Nope, too many tabs in Firefox will cause the browser to outright crash thus having to start over... if you been in the browser for a couple of hours at least.




Chrome will get "sticky" and some tabs will crash every and now then even if you haven't clicked on them for a couple of hours.


However Firefox loads much faster if you had a bunch of tabs open from a previous session and want to resume that session, chrome can take as long as 10 minutes and they all load at the same time

This is why switched back to Chrome a couple months ago.



What browser do y'all recommended in 2016? Chrome is still to resource-heavy.
