Nope. I've seen him live plenty of times and he forgot lyrics on multiple songs and the crowd wasn't really feeling him.

I saw him and Kane perform back to back...Seeing the God live was disappointing...def should check Big Daddy Kane live..that man puts on a show.

I just saw both of them recently in DC. Kane def put on a better show but I wasn't disappointed in Rakim at all.

If you have a chance to see 1 of the greatest artists of all time live you go. Friend of mine saw him very recently and Rakim killed it.

I've seen him live about 7 times...even once while in Paris.

He killed it everytime. Even got on the turntables and killed it.



Rakim is not hyper like KRS so some may not like his laid back live approach.

yep all depends on which night you catch him as what surprises you get. I know one thing dude is the smoothest I've seen on the stage, vocals are clear as hell too, he doesn't waste a lot of energy/stays in his lane. Cat's still trying to duplicate how he holds the mic , when they try to do it and spit their words sound muffled though
