As some have already mentioned, it's long as fukk. Some would call it a slow burn but frankly I just found it to be too long. Still a pretty good movie though and in its finest moments has more to offer than other contemporary westerns like 3:10 To Yuma and True Grit.

It's 2 hours and 40 minutes, but at the pace the movie goes it feels closer to like 4.

Fantastic movie. You can see why this bombed lol, but the film is aging like fine wine to me. Just seemed like everyone was firing on all cylinders here and there’s never a time when Deakins isn’t on God Mode.
