AOI wouldnt be ya go to album to get into De La Soul......
My 14 year old son still says "Buhloone Mindstate" is their best album.....But IMO, '3 feet High' and 'De La Soul is dead' are Godfather part 1 and 2. Get you some good bud.....cop 3 feet high and rising.....put it in ya cd player or MP3 player....light ya blunt and press play.....I gaurantee you will go to another planet and enjoy yaself while you are their. You will experience an era when sampling was a true art and you will appreciate it........after u are done cop 'De La Soul Is Dead" and repeat the same formula.......then cop "buloone Mindstate" and repeat the same formula.......If you gonna get into De la those first 3 albums in that specif order are the way to do it.
