You should be straight, they'll cover you. They'll definitely hit you up asking are you having financial problems and stuff like that to see if you scamming. But you should get a rental, car repair (if damaged) and a check if it's totaled

Same shyt happened to me tho :snoop:
They took my whip and totaled it, it was a lease. Had GAP coverage on it and used the payout for a new whip

I know someone scratched there shyt so they left it in north Philly and reported it stolen. Then he got a new car and someone ended up stealing it. This was like 2007 tho can’t imagine you can get away with anything today?

That time I got into a hit and run and high speed chase in my homeboy car, he told them that he got drunk at a party and his car was gone. Cause the insurance company sure did bring up that someone had to have the key cause he didn’t say that at first. I’m almost sure they thought he was lying cause they was questioning the shyt but he ended up getting the claim. But this was years ago. Moral of the story, always stick to your story when you lie to your insurance company, no matter how ridiculous it sounds.

We look explicit permission or consent to use the vehicle. If there's a hint that permission was given. They write it up as implicit permission and approve the claim.

Lying for no reason just prolongs the process for no reason. We see 1000s of claims. We can know when you lying and in most cases people lie because they scared they won't be covered. We are tryna pay you just so we can get you off our backlog. We hate having a claim sitting

Once credibility is out the window, I personally start digging for reasons cuz I'm bored cuz I wanna see how long you gonna lie.

The problem they have, is they think they smarter than everyone else. Then talk too much

I guess it depends on the car but majority of newer cars have push start. Why In the world would you leave your keys inside :mindblown:

Let’s say no push start. Unless you were on E no reason not to turn ya shyt off.

As long as you called the cops and filed a report - you’re probably good.

I used to work for geico. Cases I seen denied is ifnsomeone has a clear history of fraudulent claims , we have databases to cross reference plus now we have access to social media database to see check timestamps and such.

They typically try to find a motive to see if you had hardships, many people total they vehicles on purpose to get out of their auto loan. We know it, everyone knows it.

But if your Financials are straight you should be good. But if your loans are in repo status or something funny, they gonna dig deeper.

What do you mean by access to social media?
