Context, I'm a insurance adjuster.

They gonna first take a statement from you.
Confirm of facts of loss.
Comp coverage covers theft.
They most likely going to have the special investigation rep look into your vehicle and claim history to see if there is any history or foul play.
They gonna ask for a bunch of records, phone records, and look into your financial records to see if you have any red flags to see if you have a motive to file a fraudulent claim for a pay out.
Once that's completed they gonna set it up for a total loss.

Did you file a police report? If not, do so now.

They then gonna work with the police officer to try to locate your vehicle .

I filed the police report within seconds of finding out it was gone. Haven’t spoken to insurance only filed the claim online since it’s Christmas weekend and they seem closed/busy. I uploaded the last service records, copy of title and provided info from the bank I have the loan out for.

Appreciate you offering valuable insight. You coulda took the “high” road like
Errybody else so much respect :salute:

How is that possible? Where do you live? Someone watching your ass.

thank god I can take my key fob outside of the car while it’s running

I thought so too but it woulda made more sense if it was in the am on my way to work etc like if they recognized a pattern. I randomly wanted to cop a bagel at 125pm Christmas Eve. Didn’t realize it had snowed so I turned the car on, went into my house to grab a broom to brush the snow and shyt was gone.

I came back outside like :dwillhuh:

thought I was at the wrong house for a sec, I was in so much disbelief :russ:

I can’t be mad cause it was my fault which is why it hasn’t bothered me much. I was prepared to pay for two loans but then a friend of mine said it may be covered.

that’s when I came to ask my coli brethen :jawalrus:

I’m tight Pain is Love 2, Rule 3:36 and the Fast and Furious soundtracks was in there :unimpressed:

Management is going to make the final say. The adjuster that will be assigned will be there to just collect info.

You should be good, don't sweat it. If you get push back , just reply to this thread and I can offer further advicd

have you seen claims like this be denied before?

I been with geico since 2008.

on a side note, this nikka really drove off with my whip while it was covered in snow. I told the officer you could see foot prints from where he came from on the grass leading to my car.

I’m thinking it’s someone looking to check if doors are unlocked etc and he saw not only the door unlocked but keys and took off. I’m thinking he takes my Ja CD’s and leaves the car somewheee randomly
