Breh's The TV buying GAME is 4ucked up right now.

I got a 4k tv I've had it for like a year, so I buy the ps4 pro and find out HDR is cool,
so I go to the store to purchase a new 4K TV with HDR, the breh I know in store then tells me, yeah we got 4K's at good prices with HDR but we bout to drop 5K mid next year and 8K the year following, not to mention theres two different versions of HDR and at the moment there is no real winner out of the two

I'm like...

so its come to a point where every year TV's gonna be outdated until we reach 8K.

Barely any 4K content out there as is. You'll always have buyers remorse if you keep focusing on what is coming out next month or next year.

I waited until I knew these current crop of consoles supported the exact specs before buying a TV. Could care less what's coming down the pipeline, especially since 4K/HDR is barely taking off to begin with. I doubt tech companies are going to be pushing higher until what's out there now is mainstream
