What Kenneth Copeland is saying would make perfect if he didn't insist on using it for personal trips to his vacation home. That's my issue with it.

I see his church more as a business than a religious convent .

He is an executive of a gigantic operation that might legitimately need to have him leave a place and be on the other side of the world at a moments notice to speak to shareholders after a scandal, or significant death, or failed business expansion. Same could be said for needing to fit very many trips in a week during an unorthodox schedule for fundraisers or speaking engagements. These kinds of things are impractical to do on most carriers .

For example, as a passport bro I am intimately aware that some destinations simply don't have commercial air access between certain times of day or force you to waste inordinate amounts of time doing layovers in hubs. Charters are often unavailable entirely for certain countries. Like for example, I couldn't imagine flying between unrelated language groups like doing Soeul to Ivory Coast or Paraguay to the levant . Or even Witchita Kansas to Laos.

So for this reason, the jets are fine for a business executive. But He completely lost me when he admitted to using them for vacations . Arguably the IRS should get involved for those kind of trips too.
