I've never used one before. I just get in my bed and it's cool/cold and I just warm up eventually with the heater on, but sometimes that's not comfortable bc when you move to a different spot, the bed sheets are cold.
But my mom bought this elec blanket/comforter for me as a gift last year. I never opened it cuz I'm a real nicca, the hell I look like needing a electric blankey for?
But the other night it got in the mid-20s here, and I was like,
lemme see what this thing do
. I took it out of the box and put it under my top bed sheet, plugged it in, turned it on....left it on for about 20 mins and turned it off......brehs, I aint never slept so good and comfortable. 
I wonder how I never had one of these my entire life. Even the single life, these r&b nikkas singing about the cold side of the bed.....not no more.
