Kobe was always a first option and elite offensive player since his 2nd year with Shaq.

His overall basketball IQ is underrated because of his shot selection but Kobe is a basketball savant and that shyt was apparent since he started.
I see what you're trying to say but was he the 1st option on the team when Shaq was there?
Kobe was the perfect complimentary piece for Shaq at the time. He balled out in the regular season and had clutch moments in the playoffs; he kept up with Shaq. But on the biggest stage (Finals), Shaq was the most dominant. Shaq was the driving force in those Finals run. So, Kobe was a #2 that developed into a #1.

STFU. Mitchell shoots way more 3s and makes more than Kobrick ever did in a season.

KOBE is so unclutch. So many missed game winners. Leads the NBA in Bricks. Anytime it gets to a game 7 he shrinks and gets bailed out. The pressure gets too much for him because he's not built for those moments. Dude just has the LA fan base. He can't fool me.

Kobe Bryant is just Demar Derozan with more help.

Give Demar prime Shaq and he's getting 3 rings as well. Probably even more cuz he would have got along with him better. Kobe was to busy trying to bust nuts out in Denver from chicks who said NO.
Kobe has over 40+ game winners in his career regular season/playoffs.

Mitchell ain't no damn Kobe. Kobe couldn't shoot that 3 ball nor drive like mitchell

Kobe was trash his rookie year...7pts. Don't compare Mitchell to that scrub.

Why do you say shyt like this then turn around and say the complete opposite when a kobe stan piss you off :mjlol:

I've literally never denied Kobe was an elite player and a basketball genius. He's also in the GOAT-tier at making difficult shots (Curry, Durant, and MJ are in there too) but he has some dumbass shot selection and he's relatively inefficient compared to other GOAT-players.

Lebron is a basketball savant and a basketball genius too but he has his flaws too. He's an elite difficult shot maker by not GOAT-tier and it took awhile to trust his shot relative to other greats.

Only flawless offensive player is MJ. :yeshrug:

I get pissed off hypocritical nikkas with stupid ass arguments that ignore context. Saying Kobe > Bron because of final losses is stupid as fukk but saying Kobe > Lebron because his scoring skill set is more dynamic, explosive and well-rounded than Lebron won't bother me.

I wish you guys would stop making these stupid comparisons. Donavan Mitchell plays like Donavan Mitchell. Ben Simmons plays nothing like 1st and 2nd year Bron. Stupid thread.

Now the regular season matters until people point to Lebron's MVPs, overall statistical dominance, and impact?

He was complimentary only because Shaq is the most dominant player of all time since Wilt. Kareem was technically the "complimentary" player to Magic for a lot of their championships but Kareem was still an elite first option talent.

Kobe wasn't always allowed to show his first option talent because he played the secondary role but he always had it.

Closest players to Kobe in the league are Demar DeRozan (he just lacks kobes 3 ball and bball iq) and Devin Booker (hes a better 3 point shooter but worst post player and plays no d)

When have I ever made it a point to bash lebron in the regular season outside of jokes about him losing? I mostly poke fun at him in the finals and that’s about it.

I never argued lebrons mvps either

You however have said the exact opposite of what you are saying now. Granted you may have been annoyed by us kobe stans but just saying...

But this is literally the same arguement people use for Jordan and everybody. That shyt didn’t start with Kobe it really started with Jordan vs Kobe and exploded when Jordan bs lebron became the main narrative because lebron has less final wins then both.

As long as Jordan remains the GOAT. Rings and little context will be a thing.

Bron was doing this at Ben age..their games are nothing alike

He plays like 2013 and beyond Bron but without the perimeter game and he isnt as athletic.

The lamar odom comparison isnt fair because he can do a lot of things odom never could do on a every game basis. He plays a better floor game than odom, he handles the ball more than odom ever did, hes a better passer, hes more athletic (although odom does have some monster athletic plays it wasnt on an every game basis). Plus odom could knock down the 3.

Ben is his own player but if you had to compare him to someone it would be 2013-present bron but with a worse perimeter game and less athleticism.
