Suitsupply, you can either get an off the rack suit fitted , which is the cheaper option, or you can get measured and have a custom suit made, which will be more expensive and takes four to six weeks. You won't get anything similar in terms of quality for the same price. This shyt in Macy's and Dillard's is weak and way too big. I'm a slim dude with narrow shoulders, I need to find a good fitting sports jacket and suit.
I' r to jump on a plane or shop online.
Also I need to get measured.
Help me out brehs.
Jesus...
Having a well-fitting suit helps me maintain my weight. If I feel like things are getting a bit too snug, I know that I'm lacking in my diet or exercise. I bought a tux from Paul Stuart a few years ago when I was at the best shape of my life. That weight and proportion is what I'm trying to maintain over the course of my life so I use that as kind of a barometer. Also, I need to maintain that size if I hope to get a few wears out of it.
And if it's high quality and properly cared for and maintained, you can pass the items on to your sons especially if the items have a timeless appeal. Which is why I typically stay away from fashion trends. A nice tailored, classic, timeless look will never go out of style.
