Brehs why can't I convert these mpeg-4 audio files to MP3?

I'm completely lost with this shyt. I've tried a handful of converter programs and it's not letting me convert these files. I thought they were protected, but it's coming up unblocked. Someone help me out with this, I downloaded all of this old hot 97 piff from @Newark88

I took screen shots of what i'm dealing with

itunes should be able to convert them

goto 'preferences', then 'input settings', and set that up to convert to whatever bitrate mp3 you want. then when you right-click on the song, there should be an option to "convert to mp3"

but I'm not sure why whatever method you are using isn't working...
