Considering how bad it backfired after the label leaked the album on that friday in an attempt to cause a frenzy and drive up sales.... and the reception was so bad, Def Jam faked like they were tracking down the person who was behind the leak.:troll:

Would any label really try some shyt like this again?

Could any of y'all have imagined copping Yeezus, and turning that shyt on in the car...and On Sight started playing?:what:

nah, you have to be a very high profile artist for the label to even consider that. theres maybe 5 guys in hip hop that would have the clout to try it, and now that Yeezus underperformed the labels wouldnt allow it

Only people i could even picture doing it, would be Dre and Nas.

even Jay watched the Yeezus hype go into a death spiral like :scusthov: and then proceeded to leak his own shyt.

Def Jam gotta be pissed that they put all that work into building buzz, and having everyone talk about that shyt...and Yeezus bombs historically.
