I just like to be comfortable while still presenting myself confidently to the public...

I don't know about all this up to date fashion stuff. But I do know investing in a few tailored casual pieces Goes a long way.

There are classic pieces that every man should have and invest in good quality because these things last until you are OLD. 3 casual pants, 2 dressy, 3 button downs, a spring sweater, a fall and winter sweater. warm weather sport coats, rain coat, wool sport coat, winter casual/dressy coat.

t shirts, plain j crew polos get thrown in the mix.

Maybe a nice pair of raw denim from your favorite maker.

Goes a long way because they last years. I rarely buy new cloths.

I have a uniform. I stick to it.

It is indeed important to know what fits you as an individual. What works for you may not work for others and vice versa.

Tailoring is always good if you're not planning on bulking or cutting. I live in the VI and they suck here. So I usually try to get as close as possible to my fit as possible. The only thing I send to get done are my suits :manny:
denim Im fine but shirts is beginning to be a bit of a hassle. Like a dumbass, I got these Carhartt WIP shirts last summer in a Medium and they fit nice but now them my arms buldging out of them :russ: dont think Ill bulk again though. If I alter the taper on these old Nudies though :banderas:

I prefer to wear timeless clothes. Jackets, shirts, suits, knee length shorts, pants, Jordans, wingtips, t shirts, jumpers, hoodies, etc

shyt that people in every era would rock.

I don't fukk with hightops that go halfway up the shin, suits with rolled up sleeves, pants exposing ankles, diaper looking pants with skinny bottoms, super long tees.. Nah breh.
