They coming out with their big guns and some of the casual AEW buzz is fallin unless you're a die-hard fan watching all their youtube shows, etc

WWE as a whole still trash but you cant deny their new unique attempts to programming

  • All Things "The Fiend"
  • 24/7 Title being a complete success
  • Sasha's Heel Turn
  • The mysterious "Who attacked Roman" intriguing storyline
  • The New Day vs "The MAGA Powers" (Orton/Revival)
  • The OC (stables are always fun)
  • Sami being Shinsuke's mouthpiece
  • "King of the Ring" Tournament
  • Braun's slow burn to challenging Seth for the Universal Title
  • NXT moving to USA to go heads up with AEW
  • New WWE Network layout (although its trash)
  • Todd Chrisley's show is dead

What's AEW got? :yeshrug:

theres a dedicated fanbase outside of WWE thats why Chicago, Philly, Boston already sold out shows

WWE product has already been tainted, the fans want NXT style presentation and wrestling and thats not what theyre gonna get in the main brands

Only thing on the list that affects AEW is NXT moving to USA. Orton/Revival might not even last past Night of Champions.

AEW has former Chinese monks trained by CIMA coming in.

Bringing in Joshi wrestlers who aren't being made to conform to the WWE style.

They're emphasizing on tag team wrestling with the tag tournament

Crowning a woman's champion on episode one

Bringing Tony Schiavone back to wrestling

We’ll see what kind of ratings NXT does. Sure they’ll have a head start but AEW has All Out coming up and despite what some will say about it not having a marquee match, they have a great lineup. Bucks vs Lucha Bros. in a ladder match, Kenny vs Mox, Cody vs Spears, Jericho vs Page all have the potential to be great matches.

the thing is, AEW really has nothing to lose. they've seen who their fans are, and more importantly (right now), WHERE their fans are. if you can break even on ticket sales for an arena and sell A LOT of concessions, similar to MLB/NFL/NBA and how other Pro Sports operate, you will be good money.

these guys have found something that is better than a niche, but not totally mainstream either.

the people that will buy AEW ppv's and The Elite shirts are very dedicated to their product. as long as they keep giving THOSE people what they want, they will be straight.

supposedly Tony Khan is a Quant type dude, I feel like he ran the numbers and assessed the risk
