Imma put it like this. I get that it’s the cool thing to do to shyt on Eminem. And I even agree that he gets over credit by his white fanbase. But there’s a few reasons why shorty sucks as a podcast personality cause she rarely ever knows wtf she’s talking about. There has been all black super bowls before. And Eminem is one of Dre’s biggest artists so if Dre is headlining it would only make sense to have Em there. On the surface what she’s saying has some merit but she’s also technically wrong.
Eminem wouldn't have the career he's had if he wasn't white, I think we all can recognize that, but she's sounding like the keyboard militants on this board.
He isn't the "token white guy"; his name has been synonymous with Dr. Dre ever since rose to stardom. He's literally the biggest artist that's come up under Dre. If anyone were to headline the Halftime show with Dre, apart from Snoop, it'd be Eminem. And then to make matters worse, she then makes out his inclusion is emblematic that there's never been an all-Black Halftime show, when there's been a number of them.

This is my point. It’s a disservice to minimize the actual instances of token white people by saying an untrue statement in this case. Eminem was a big part of Dre’s movement and success with Aftermath. It makes sense for him to be there in this case.
Off this Eminem shyt but man all these platforms bruh, it's a bunch of super corny people who either don't know wtf they're talking about or have awful awful taste, programming to the masses what's hot and what's not. That shyt, more than anything else in rap right now, is the most problematic.
I wish this shyt went back to media just reporting the news, and even the gossip and shyt like that...as opposed to everybody being a miniature Wendy Williams or Star or Stephen A Smith and having to share their weak opinions on everything they report, and then have the simple ass listeners taking their opinions as law. That fukked up rap, all these geeks with platforms and voices cosigning and giving validity to trash shyt because the kids like it.
