I started playing a lot since last month. Signed up for the Diamond membership on Chess.com.

I've been playing a lot of games, and doing a lot of the puzzle challenges. Watching some of these GM's games on YouTube, is just mind-boggling. It definitely gets your mind working. I never thought I'd enjoy playing it, but I'm loving it so far, and I'm getting to the point where I know where I fukked up right away.

I like how on Chess.com they show you all of the "Key Moments" during the game, and tell you what the best move would have been. It's been helping me a ton, even though I'm trash.

Wish I had ppl to play with after the 3rd grade. Teacher started a Chess Club, and after a few weeks, ended it with a double elimination chess tournament.

Went undefeated till the finals. Lost the 1st game in like 5-6 moves. But beat him in the 2nd game in a hard fought battle.

Played a lil bit in the army, but nothing consistent.

A huge part in improving skills in something is recognition of error/spot detection

It's the worst in the world in chess man. I can play a near perfect game for however long then make that 1 fukk up and know its over :snoop:

Can we get up a Coli tournament, or at least a regular daily set up where we play each other for fun and for practice. Just gather up all the interested people and have like a Discord or something where we can arrange games with each other.

That's a great idea. Anyone that sees or replies to this thread. Join chess.com (yes, there's an app).

We got a coli madden league...why not one for Chess.

Learning from blunders helps your ability to develop your pieces, lines, diagonals, openings, defenses, etc.

Playing more makes you better. It's like fukking.
Low-key. :yeshrug:
