never was a fan of carolina but they are also famed as well.
I don’t think I will have enough time to do them all.
Try Arthur Bryants in KC. you won't be disappointed.

If you makes you feel better, i'm firmly in the camp that Texas has the best bbq. But if you had to choose between KC and Ohio for BBQ, you seriously hitting up akron first? There's room for runner ups breh

Texas alone has 4 diff styles of BBQ
- Central Texas (what people think of these days - ideally no sauce, all smoke (post Oak))
- East Texas (sweet sauce and beef links)
- South Texas (Barbacoa)
- West Texas (Mesquite has a way diff flavor than Hickory)
Louisiana is on a whole other level of food. New Orleans, Lafayette, Baton Rouge...
But don't sleep on AL/MS/GA and the rest.
As long as you get someone to steer you right, you'll never have a bad meal in The South.
