Regardless it still sucks to be in her position used as a political pawn. And I am speculating like everyone else but I would believe that wasn’t her first time bringing oil through that airport, and she got detained to fuel the ongoing crisis.

People make mistakes. Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t help them.

Feel bad for her too, but she was really irresponsible doing that shyt knowing damn well how most other countries have hard penalties for drugs (we all know this). And put the country in a bad position to where we are offering up notorious weapons dealers to free her for her dumb and selfish decision. I smoke myself. But this not the type of risk you take going to a place like russia. We are literally made aware that Russia is basically our mortal enemy since we are like 10 years old lol and that they are strict there. Whether it was true or not. If a terrorist gets traded on behalf of her, I hope she acknowledges that personally and understands she may have caused future permanent damage to others lives, wherever that terrorist whom gets traded if it happens goes. Want her to come home, but just saying

Fact is, if they kidnapped a WASP missionary group, the state department would be bending over backwards to get them home. But as I typed that out, I thought about legally vs illegally detained. She is legally detained.
