I never knew why they are so gung-ho about retiring the big gold. I mean, that belt just screams "champion" a lot more than any of the heavyweight title belts the E had. Plus it's been around since 86(?).

It had a good run when it was RAWs primary belt but then They just send it to Smackdown to die when they realized "our WWE Championship is on the B show, we need to fix this"

Yeah the big belt just looks more legit to me. The newer belts look like something you'd buy at a store or something. Which is probably why they did it that way.

I'd bet 9.99 thats exactly the reason why cause it seriously looks like an exact clone from the belt you'd see at walmart.

That shyt does not look like some Heavyweight Champion in the world would "ideally" wear. I mean in a way the WCW belt, doesnt look faboulous by all acounts, but it looks much more polished and legit then the badazzled WWE belt.
