Where did you hear this from? I worked at Amazon and they will hire people with rap sheets. I knew a old head there who spend majority of his youth in and out of jail working at Amazon and he managed to work himself up to assistant manager.

I think it depends but I know Cali law different if you talking about Amazon there. I'm in WA, they won't hire you until you got your ish handled.. If it's been 7 years or more, you should be fine tho. Amazon will not hire you with a pending case in most states tho.

Forgot to mention if you catch a case while already working there, you should be fine too.

I think most jobs won't hire you if you have pending charges but I know for a fact that Amazon is better than most at giving people a chance.
