Get the fukk outta here with that. Outside of Detroit, none of them was seeing any team defensively in the NBA today. The Early 90's Knicks were full of role players, a very good Ewing, and Starks. They were no match for Chicago.
Joe Dumars is suppose to be the best defender. He was like 6'3 190

fukk outta here, you got PG's much bigger than that.
I love GP but fukk outta here with that. GP was a great defender for his time but when the NBA killed the handchecking rule, it make it tough for bigger defenders like GP to ride the offensive player like that. His effectiveness defensive dropped like bricks.
Dawg, I get it, you want to think MJ is this goat figure. He's not. He is a great scorer, who played great off ball defense, who at times can play great on ball defense, but he was selfish, only tried to get others involved when his game wasn't clicking and he was bailed out a lot by refs. A lot more than Bron is.
Dude is overrated because simply, he made the game a supersport. He transcendent the game globally. His exciting play and marketable was rare. He has decent looks, a nice smile to sell to Timmy and James, and he was just extremely fun to watch unlike Lebron. That doesn't take that away from him but he shouldn't be seen as no GOAT either. He should be seen as one of the greatest players and one of the greatest SG's. He will never be as impactful in the court as Duncan, Wilt, Russell, Kareem, or Shaq in their prime. Those guys are bigs. GOAT level Bigs can't be stopped and you only hope their supporting cast is shyt/old/dysfunctional or you will lose. Lebron is one of the rare players since Big O that has a big man's impact from a small position even if he doesn't protect the rim like any of those guys.
