I assume they will also bench Russ for the last 2 games as well?
The reason I felt like they had to keep Hackett the entire season is they needed a scapegoat for why Russ looked so terrible
I wouldn't let him touch the field without Hackett on the sidelines. No shot you're getting a half decent coach with Russ looking this bad if there's not someone else to blame it on

if the Broncos release Russell Wilson after June 1st 2023, the dead cap would be:
2023 - $39 million
2024 - $68 million
Awfully tempting for a new regime to consider Russ a sunk cost and just move on from him.
