I really wonder what his true level is.

Is he a starter on a g league team? Is he a starter in a mid team in Spain? Averaging double digits in China?
I'm guessing he's not gonna play anywhere overseas and probably will retire from basketball not too long after Bron retires.

He's not motivated enough to hustle in basketball and that's it.

Cam Reddish got signed by some no name team in Europe and he actually looked like NBA caliber player in some of those games when he was there.

Also Bronny is undersized and places like Europe have a lot of skilled undersized point guards who'd make him look funny. And they play more defense over there.

He could play for like a low tier European team or a random china squad, I mean he knows how to play basketball, he's just not good enough for major basketball leagues worldwide.

I watch some Euro games and I guarantee you this kid would get roasted by guards who play overseas like Mike James, Shane Larkin, Kendrick Nunn, TJ Shorts, etc.

Remember that Jeanie Buss & Rob Pelinka signed the #55 pick to a guaranteed contract before the '24 season began, btw.

That's because their strategy is to maximize profits, not to try their luck at finding a decent 55th pick who might actually be useful.

Those people are billionaires. They know Bron and his son in the league (no matter how bad he'd play) was going to make them more money than a more talented player who was still available at a low 55th pick.

Best believe if he was playing for another team, they would have drafted his son as well. I mean Bucks wasted two roster spots to keep Giannis happy.

Cope harder. Bronny getting chants to get put in the game and had the crowd going crazy after scoring at MSG.

Yall hate that man so bad you can’t even fathom that Bron gets love in real life.:snoop:

Lol respectfully, you're making their point for them, posting clips of Bronny getting the Herb Williams treatment.

He will never be NBA caliber player, ever.

But nepotism has always been around the NBA. Players, coaches, GM's, you name it.

Look at Bryan Colangelo. He's ruined every team where worked as the GM, and he's only been there because of Jerry Colangelo.

George karl tried to push his bum ass son into the league

JR Smith had his brother signed by the Knicks for couple of games cause JR was playing golf with Dolan lol

The problem with Bronny was that Klutch put on a better campaign then Kamala to try and convince everyone Bronny was a legitimate player and actually a steal of a draft pick. If they had just signed him as an undrafted free agent a lot of this would have been avoided

They did that marketing so more casuals would tune in Laker games. They did all of that on purpose.

If they just signed him from undrafted with no buzz going around, most casuals would already know that kid ain't good for NBA. But with Klutch marketing and a wasted 55th pick? Maybe, just maybe they may tune in and see what's up.

You have to look at this from a casuals perspective. Their job was to maximize whatever they can out of his rookie season and that whole father and son on the basketball court thing. Anyone who watches more basketball knew from his college games that he wasn't NBA ready.

Whatever Bronny bringing in financially is a drop in the bucket, nobody is tuning in to watch him in the NBA after a game or two.

But I'm looking at it from the Klutch angle, it would have been less pressure just signing him and start him off in the G. Instead they had reporters talk about he woulda been a lotto pick if not for his incident
