Nick Wright is basically the anti-Skip, where as Skip's popularity as a TV figure exploded by hating on Bron, Wright is becoming one of FS1's main guys by being a Bron dikkrider. Both these dudes owe half their salary to him.

Skip was a sportswriter, he didn't start making >$5M as a TV personality until the fuego sports takes, and it was Bron and to a lesser extent Tebow that built him into that personality. We have a whole generation of folks who have been watching Skip on TV that never read a single article he wrote. I legit dont think most of his points are bullshyt when you consider he's comparing him to MJ. Skip was making major crazy hottakes before like saying aikman was gay. Only think Skip has said about LeBron is that he's not MJ, not clutch, and runs from the ft line. Granted he can get overboard but look at the prior he's arguing. This is the 6th straight year that LeBron was clearly & objectively the best player in the Finals. That's a record no one will ever approach.

first, is it really true? Bill Russell won 8 titles in a row.

Secondly, Lebron was absolutely not the best player in these finals. You could argue he was 3rd best behind Curry. You could even argue Curry was better in 2015, but that will lead to fights.

Edit: I take that back, he was the best on 5 of the 6 finals runs ( Dirk Nowitzki was better)
