I don't know how it is in Brooklyn. But old school Haitians czme to this country and I think most of their mortgages are paid off now. The kids born in the 80s who benefited off their families migration in the 60/70s have land equity.

One thing I have a question is the Boys keep everything and the girls get pushed out the house. Is that accurate ?
