All the people saying that the guy should’ve shown his ID, so let me ask you this, do you think if a pig goes onto a white man’s property with no warrant and asks for an ID the white man is going to be 100% compliant? He’ll tell him to get the fukk off his property before he shoots him and the pig will happily walk away

Facts!! If they approach you like they did dude - ask them “am I being detained, am I under arrest, and am I free to go?” There is no failure to identify unless you are under arrest with evidence that you have committed a crime .

I understand his reaction cus he frustrated but i would give the ID and be done with it. Don't put any ideas into the cops head shyt is like loading a gun and turning it on yourself then he would have claimed you were resisting and gotten off. Unfortunately black men in this country have to comply because we are never given the benefit of doubt.

No , had you given him your id on your own property, then you just opened yourself to a whole other set of problems. Now you have given them justification to arrest you bc they will take that as an admission of guilt when they had no justification in the first place -it’s that defeatist attitude that’s going to have you hemmed up.

a picture actually is enough for probable cause...
the issue is that the officers misidentified dude...
he could have been arrested and let go and it would have been 100% legal

this is false....
giving them your ID doesn't count as an admission of anything under law...
the situation actually would have ended quicker because the officer would have realized he misidentified the man..
the issue is that the officer is bad at his job... and the man didn't HAVE to give his ID...
just an unfortunate situation caused by a crappy cop...

By not stopping at some random person's house to accuse them of not owning their dog and then saying they have a warrant without having the picture,name and address of that person thats in another state?

I am proud of bruh, he handled his bidness like a real one, he knew exactly wtf he was talkin bout, he didnt let them manipulate him or tricc him outta his position, &, possibly into being a dead man.

He conducted himself properly, and wasnt hella extra, he made sure he kept his wife in line cuz they definitely woulda went for her to get to him. We all need to be aware & well versed of these laws & codes.
