When asked about Trump's controversial remarks regarding immigration and an incident Tuesday when 30 black students were reported to have been removed from the candidate's rally in Valdosta, Ga., Evers responded, "I haven't seen any proof of him being a racist."
However he added, "all of us have some racism in us. Even me."

The more you learn about the movement and the aftermath, the more impossible it becomes to worship the people of the civil rights movement. A lot of them were white worshippers who just reverted to their pre-Civil Rights mindset when the movement imploded. They're more than happy to cuddle up to the same politicians that are making our lives a living hell while bashing us for not being as great as they are.
