T Mac was constantly injured and Carter never had the skill to keep up with Hoebe.

Stop this "wanted it more" shyt. Tobe forced his way into a winning situation.

Did he?:comeon:

Kobe was on the the team weeks before Shaq even left Orlando:ufdup:

And they weren't a playoff team either when he "forced" his way there

a whole lot of :troll: i see

vince was the better dunker of the 3 thats it every other area beans shyts on these dudes and i'm a vince fan

Vince was also a better 3 point shooter and team player on offense, then Kobe. Vince fell off when the injuries started hitting and he stopped driving to the basket.

man I wish vince could have played for a better organization/coach in his prime. if he was in a better position to compete for a title he would've pushed and been pushed harder. the game was incredibly easy for vince.

tmacs body probably would've broken down regardless.

you have to say kobe is better off longevity alone, but I still liked prime vince and tmac more.

Tmac had bad workout habit. Like mechanics and form. They showed him in the gym one summer in his tenure with the rockets and he was working out all wrong. He want using his core strength to lift and do reps. He was using momentum. I remember watching the video on clutchfans and the gym heads were pissed off he was doing this on a rockets gym facility and none of the trainers were correcting him.

As far as drive and work ethic, I remember JVG saying something like Kobe has shot over 100000 shots in practice and he doesn't even believe tmac has shot 1000 practice shots in one season or offseason. And he said that in a very smug way. Lol. It is what it is, I conceded the crown to Kobe a while ago. After seeing how things had played out, Dude is clearly the best player of this generation.

i think tmac had the work ethic but was prob bothered a lot by injuries.
Vince (while a great player) but him going to his college graduation the same day as a game 7 playoff game was :scust:
that right there told me all i needed to know about his focus and desire to win.

I think post jordan era before the lebron era, the guys that nobody could question their desire to win was kobe, AI, and Duncan.

AI wasn't lifting weights or running sprints either though:patrice:...you cant really say they didn't have desire, they just had a spark when they started....I cant compare them to Shawn Kemp,Tmac had back problems for god sake:dahell:...Kobe and AI have played through some crazy injuries, but the back is something else, and not everybody can play through injurys the same way.
