When my brother was diagnosed, I was certain I had it.

Last Thanksgiving, I ate like a hog.Had pecan pie, lemon cake, banana pudding, dressing, mac & cheese, potato salad, ice cream, dinner rolls, soda, wine, and barbecue beef brisket(My aunt brought that to a Thanksgiving dinner.Niccaz wasn't complaining, tho) all in one night.


Curious what my sugar might be, I woke up the next morning and drove to my brothers.He had one of those Accu-Check machines where you poke yourself with the blood strip.

My shyt was sitting @ 107 ......which wasn't shyt considering all the calories I consumed about 6 hrs prior.


I was expecting to see 5-600

Everyone I know w/ diabetes was warned that their sugar was getting out of control and had yrs to do something about it. I've never seen anyone just randomly get type 2. It can probably happen doe

I remember when Tom Hanks got diabetes, I knew we're screwed as blk people. When them c@cs that eat all that bland shyt get it, what chance do we have I know old people blind from that shyt and Im still drinking grape soda
