Hell no. Bud is nice but Floyd would have worked him, esp prime pretty boy Floyd. Floyd's speed is the the great equalizer. His opponents just couldnt adjust to the handspeed and couldn't adjust to the defense. I don't know how it would feel to be in the ring with him, where you can't see his punches coming, you can't hit him for shyt, and he's picking you apart with counterpunches.

Bud had power at every weight and his timing is next level.

The Traps of Unified Korea
The only fighter beating Floyd is a relentless, smothering fighter (Castillo, Maidana) who can lock him in his defensive stance forever and beat him to the body. That or a rangy fighter who can manage the distance from outside and also be astute enough to smother him inside (Oscar, who people forget fought a VERY good fight against Floyd). The advantage that Maidana and Oscar had is that they fought Floyd at a weight where his power didn't really come with him. Fights against those types of fighters are different at 130-140 where he was also a big puncher on top of everything else. See, the Castillo rematch where Floyd had both hands.

You gotta also realize that Floyd and Bud are about the same height and Floyd has the longer reach. I feel like when people consider this match they feel like Bud has a size advantage but it's the opposite. Floyd is the rangier fighter, the better in-fighter, the better defender, and I don't know how you can call power in Bud's favor now, either. Floyd was knocking people out until he got to 147. Let's see what Bud's power looks like against the real players at 147 (and 154) and not the Jeff Horn's.
