The Gentleman
Always a Gentleman!
Any Similarities to these these two cities?
Pittsburgh off the Italian food. I never have eaten anything around Buffalo, or spent any real time there.
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh...lived there for 26 years of my life.
I have only driven through Buffalo and that was on the way to Toronto back in the late 90s so I can't speak on it.
Pittsburgh is a small city. Basically its just downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods. Lots of bridges. Low cost of living compared to Philadelphia. Lots of bars. Not too much to do outside of that.I haven’t been to Pittsburgh in over 20 years. So tell me what’s it like there?

Its come up since the days the steel industry has left. Lots of shopping and restaurants took its place. As well as UPMC just really took the place of where the steel industry used to be.
Much older population than most major cities. Not too many young people outside of the colleges there though. Most everybody leaves for other cities by the time they graduate.
Really the only industry popping is healthcare...and maybe banking and business besides sports. Pittsburgh is known more as a sports city than anything else (pirates, steelers, penguins, pitt, Duquesne, etc).
It still suffers from population decline that hasn't really reversed itself despite the improvements since the steel industry left in the 1970s and 1980s.
Also its old. Very old. Lots of crumbling infrastructure and the public transportation system is terrible so you need a car.
With the shyts, like, they dtf, or they'll rob you too?Racist, segregated AF (an outta-towner can spot this easily), hilly than a MFer, females wit the shyts tho...Pittsburgh![]()
