Began to price out M4. I was already at 80k by the time I got around to the ceramic brakes :russ:

I'd rather buy a well-equipped Audi RS5 for around $87,725 instead.

68k for a stripped down m4 :beli:

cmon bmw. i seriously don't know why someone would by this over a stingray or a f-type
95% of the performance with 250% of the practicality

I love sports cars and smile everytime I drive my Z... but if an M3/M4 aint a sports car its damn close

NEW ERA
for new, yeah. but most used cars that are a few years old... prices always have me like :whew: at the depreciation.
You ain't never lied. Sometimes I :mjlol: when I see a 2009 Benz CLS selling for like $25k-$30k when that car was $70k+ new. :why:

I'm saving for a Porsche. Seems like the only "everyday car" brand that holds significant value. A Panamera with 50k+ miles is still selling used for $50k+. :whew:

if you want to get technical on why...check the track times between an m and those cars you just mentioned.

what track times?

m3/m4 stripped down is 70k nearly 20k more than the stingray but to each their own. i guess the reason people like the m is because its practical though.

that is what i was kinda leading too..you have performance and practicality ...someone who willing to pay a premium price for the M usually appreciates the performance aspect of a car.

I optioned a Stingray the way I wanted and it still came out to $70K. That wasn't fully optioned either. :ld:

I don't think the C7 Z51 would have a problem with the M3/M4 on the track. That car is fast on the track, even for its power level. Stupid low-end torque and it hooks on corner exit.

Its usually quicker than the 991 Carrera S on the track in all of the tests I've seen comparing the two.

I had to pull back on the options. I went with cloth interior and manual transmission, which brought the price of the M4 down to $65,675
Then, the web site kicked me out with a final statment, "Get the fugg outta here you cheap ass nicca." I was offended, to say the least.
