all these things are egregious, but NOT getting any picks back in the caruso deal is a fireable offense IMO. everyone in the NBA knows OKC has more picks than they can even accommodate on the roster and we still didn't get shyt back.

After you do a trade like that, the rest of the league knows how to treat you.

You take back Giddey with 1 year left for your best trade chip and don't get a pick back? Now every other GM knows they can play hardball with you in negotiations and win.

Case in point, this Vuc shyt. Bulls were demanding a 1st for him and I'm sure they were laughed at. I'm sure they were like, you didn't get any picks back for DeMar, LaVine or Caruso, we not giving you a 1st for Vuc. Should have just traded him to Golden State for whatever they were offering before the deadline.
