Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof running for Nevada senate

Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof running for Nevada senate

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

From a house of ill repute to the Nevada State Senate.

That’s the dream of Dennis Hof, owner of the Bunny Ranch brothel where Lamar Odom passed out from a drug overdose.

Hof, 69, announced his candidacy Friday and said he would run as a Libertarian.

His decision was something of a comedown from loftier ambitions. The brothel kingpin had launched an exploratory committee in July hoping to unseat Sen. Harry Reid. Hof ultimately backed away, fearing he would ‘whore’ himself out to special interest groups.

“I thought the big get-even would be me to run for Senate and take his seat,” said Hoff, who briefly spoke of the campaign during a live stream Saturday from the Bunny Ranch.

But that race would not work out, Hof said alongside two brothel employees.

“It’s going to be interesting,” Hof added. “These career politicians in appointed positions by the governor ... they all suck, they're all losers.”

I missed being in the Senate district he's running for by under half a mile. :blessed:

Reno Gazette-Joournal said:
Brothel owner Dennis Hof announced Friday he would be running as a Libertarian for the Nevada Senate seat currently occupied by outgoing Sen. Greg Brower, R-Reno.

Hof was originally considering running for U.S. Senate, but said he did not want to kowtow to special interests for money.

You just can’t get the $5 million to 10 million without whoring yourself out and I’m not going to do that,” he said. “There’s a lot of people willing to give me money, but there’s a payback. I’m not going to compromise my principles.”

Hof said he chose the Libertarian Party after being introduced to it by John Stossel.

“It’s kind of neat,” he said. “I call myself a conservatarian. I feel like I’m a conservative guy even though I’m in a crazy business, but I like the libertarian values and what they stand for.”

Brower announced in September he would not seek reelection. Former Assemblywoman Heidi Gansert entered the race a short time later. A Democrat has not announced his or her candidacy.

Gansert and Brower did not respond to phone calls for comment.

I don't really want any of that fukkery.
As a side note, he had some of his whores passing out "Hookers for Hillary" flyers at the Bernie Sanders rally here last summer. He's not about that libertarian life.

I never quite understood how these morons in decidedly "seedy" entertainment industries think they should have any political power or say.
Nevada in general is :scust: And I he sure as well wouldn't do any good in a Senate seat :what:
