Yea this all good and all but remember that Burkina Faso is basically a failed state and even with this coup government only control about 60% it. So I doubt you anybody wants to visit there anytime soon.

But shout out to Traore he got some of the best PR people in Africa.

The only thing we need to remember is that Burkina Faso's future depends on it controlling and maximizing the use of its resources.
Burkina Faso is on the right track, we don't need sadists like you always sour about kicking out saboteurs and traitors from our land.

And yes Burkina Faso has a vibrant immigrant community from across West Africa. So, keep your miserable noses out of Burkina 's business

Like I said they control only 60% of their own country and you say that, but why they doing business with Russia. I’m sure Russia got their best interests at heart.:mjlol:

So they don't have to do business with America and Europe.. :comeon:

As for the 60% you speak of, those are area controlled by Islamist militias..another reason why that Arab believe system has no place in Africa.

Shut your pathetic neo colonialist ass up. 60% is way better than the 0% they controlled when the French puppets were in power.
Who said anything about Russia? Burkina Faso is making moves that benefit Burkina Faso, if Russia or any other country also benefits from the deal; that's what you call a win-win.
Tell me exactly why you're so mad they got rid of a parasitic France that has been sucking them dry for decades.

Yep

In the U.S. press, developing countries only draw headlines for wars, coup d'etats, and violence. That goes double for countries where English is not one of the major languages. As is the case with Burkina.

Person with any kind of natural curiosity about the world would have read about how the country was run ahead of the coup, and would have noted the things you pointed out.

Something had to change, and as a country extracts itself from exploitation from former colonizer, it has to replace those resources and or channels and networks. Facilitating travel, tourism, and commerce with countries on the continent is one of the long term ways to do it , as is negotiating more favorable trade agreements with other powerful countries.

Those high visa "processing fees" and waiting times are relics of past regimes that used them to stuff their pockets. Was counter productive, and had to go.

I think Sankara himself is a huge tourist draw to Ouagadougou for other Africans and black people in the diaspora.

It could be a hub for Pan-African travel if the Burkunabe could do something similar to The King Center in Atlanta where king's belongings, king's writings, king's former house and his former church are part of one big tourist atraction.

Burkinabe were also part of both the mali and songhai empires so there is a bunch of ruins and cultural artifacts they can market to the same Pan-African crowd.

We will see then how it plays out fukkboy, but I hope they get it together tho. Honestly as long as they get rid of the Islamic threat they will be okay in long run.
