Burning Man - Anyone ever been to one these things?

i keep hearing about it. for those of you that have been to it, what was your reason for going? what were you "hoping" to get out of it? what the hell is it...like really?

Truthfully it's like a cult. There was like 2 dozen of those people randomly in my city out and about a year or 2 ago and I knew something was very off about them. Got a super weird vibe.
