Burt Reynolds: ‘Charlie Sheen Deserves HIV Diagnosis’

We were all left shocked last month when Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen bravely revealed that he is HIV+ in an emotional, honest interview.

Since his diagnosis went public, many have blamed the star’s party-loving lifestyle, and now veteran actor, Burt Reynolds, has come forward to have his say on Charlie’s illness - revealing that he has no sympathy for the actor because he “deserves it”.

Burt’s own career was plagued with HIV rumours back in the 1980s after he suffered dramatic weight loss, and he was asked during an interview on Loose Women if he felt sorry for Charlie following his revelation.

The 79-year-old responded: “For Charlie, no, he deserves it. He misbehaved badly. Very badly. But you know when you’re that age, it’s tough. All those things are coming at you and it’s difficult.”

However, he does “feel bad” for Charlie’s father, Martin Sheen, who is a close friend of his, adding: “He’s handled it badly I think. His father is a very, very decent man and a dear friend of mine.

“I feel bad for him, but Charlie, I don’t feel bad for him. He’s getting what he deserves. If you’re going to misbehave like that, they’re going to get you.”

Speaking to The Sun after the interview, a member of the show’s audience was understandably stunned, revealing: “The audience were shocked - as were [TV hosts] Ruth and Coleen - and there was an extremely awkward silence.

“Of course, HIV is something that no one deserves.”

When a gang banger gets killed in a gang war, nobody feels bad for them. That's what happens when you're in that life.
So if you're a drug user sleeping with multiple women for years and years and contract HIV, nobody is going to feel bad for you. You knew the road you were on.

The only thing you might feel bad about is Charlie wasting his potential, because at a young age, he actually was a pretty talented actor.
I agree with Burt.

Does it piss anyone off that people call this predator "brave"? Fukk him. Hope he suffers
I peeped that shyt too....and that's why I've said before that he is a prime, shining example of white privilege.

When all of his degeneracy and debauchery became public, everyone laughed it up as jokes. Dude was on crack binges beating women, hell, even shot one and it was all one big joke. Celebrity roast and all, but ppl like Chris Brown are still being crucified :francis:

Now dude comes out as HIV positive due to....being a degenerate, and he's a fukking hero? :laff:
