Exactly. He was using the MPC, with the Korg Trinity and Triton back then.
The whole "casio" thing started when Pete Rock came out in an interview taking shots at Swizz saying that he didn't understand why he was on every magazine cover and why people would want to buy all these "casio beats". Blaze Magazine did a cover with Mannie Fresh and Swizz asking if they were Hip Hop's best producers, and Pete didn't like that. So he basically started a little campaign against Swizz questioning why he was so popular, lol.

Swizz seems like a good person to be around when creating but I wouldn’t want him behind the actual board making beats. Breh just has a way of making annoying ass drum patterns and hooks.
