it's a progressive tax system, that is the definition of fair. see: the ability to pay concept. Rich people are supposed to pay more than poor people because they have the ability to pay more.
Also, the rich don't need your pity DEAD7. Do you think you're going to be rich someday, is that why you're

One demographic should pay for all of society?We will just have to agree to disagree on this. I don't think it's economically or morally sound.
To answer you though, I think the federal govt. should treat every citizen equally in every way. This includes the rich.
Taxes and CEO pay are the two issues that liberals are guaranteed to go full retard on....
