Turn it on and see if it plays.

Test all of it's functions, be it radio, cd, mp3, all of them.

Make sure the speakers and amp are playing, and make sure they also play with your key turned forward in the on position (but without your car actually being started), as well.

If all of that checks out, you've actually hit a score
