I recently copped a used Xbox 360 E 250GB from Cowboom for $99.99 plus tax. The console had signs of wear but it works fine and the accessories were brand new. I went to Gamestop and bought four games for around 20 dollars.

I didn't miss out on anything because I don't care about playing most games on day one, and I have a PC which allows me to play the best version of most multiplatform games. Plus, I have a Wii U and both handhelds so I'm not starving for games.

By waiting until the end of a generation, you can get the best version of a system and its games for cheap and you won't get burned by console upgrades throughout the console's lifetime. I'm gonna cop a 500GB PS3 when I find a good deal, and I'll probably buy a PS4 and and a Xbone after the next generations come out.

I feel the same way, I gotta 360 I don't play many games to begin with so I'm in no rush, I usually watch the youtube walkthroughs of the popular games.

Of course, each their own. Nothing wrong with cats spending money how they please.

What are you going to play? :ld:

I mean I can only think of Gears of War 2/3, Halo 3, Reach and 4 off to start.

Besides the exclusives, I've been looking at Digital Foundry articles to see if the PS3 or 360 versions are better for particular titles. The four games I bought are Child of Eden, Crackdown, Condemned: Criminal Origins, and Dead Rising.

Man.. I don't know how you doing it. I couldn't go back to playing last gen games let alone if I already come from a gaming PC. Such a big downgrade.

Anyway most games seem to run better on 360. There's a handful of titles that are better on PS3 though.

I'm only buying games that don't have good PC ports, or if they came out on PC but I have to install UPlay or Origin or something extra like that, I'll just cop on a console.
