I thought Jay had just as good a verse. It wasn't super syllables rapid fire but it was great.
Jay really had the better verse to me. Way more relatable. Em shyt was dope but I couldn't grasp his pain on it.

In hindsight Jay more than held his own. But in 2001, Eminem was all anyone talked about on this song. Jay's quotables were appreciated later mainly "do you fools listen to music..." Theres a reason Kay Slay, put the Royce +Em version without Jay Z on his mixtape. Eminem owned it literally and figuratively...
