In hindsight Jay more than held his own. But in 2001, Eminem was all anyone talked about on this song. Jay's quotables were appreciated later mainly "do you fools listen to music..." Theres a reason Kay Slay, put the Royce +Em version without Jay Z on his mixtape. Eminem owned it literally and figuratively...
