I think the great irony is that most white people don't really know their heritage either. It's superficial.
Especially after they've been here a few hundred years. Most of their records don't really go back that far unless their forbearers were wealthy. Because just as she listed Liberia or Sierra Leone, your average cac will list Germany or Sweden but they have no ties to these places and can't even pinpoint a town or familial home.
So I think the sista's answer was sufficient.
